As of January 2009, we no longer make hollow point and hollow base molds due to the complexity of the mold design. We also do not feel there is enough demand to justify producing them as a standard production item. We no longer accept custom mold orders for Hollow Base or Point molds. With the complexity of these molds, they require more time to be spent designing and fitting the machines, which in turn causes a time constraint for standard production molds that we can not afford to ignore. We do not have any plans to reintroduce these types of molds in the near future. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
There is a business that does the secondary work of hollow pointing. This company takes Lee Molds and will create a hollow point in them.
