With most of our presses, priming is accomplished when you are pushing the lever away from you, when you have the least amount of mechanical advantage because priming requires finesse rather than brute force. Press the lever firmly (with about the same force you would use when entering a store with an automatic door closer) but deliberately, and pay attention to the feel you get through the press lever. With practice you will be able to tell just by the feel through the lever when the primer is starting into the primer pocket correctly and when it isn't. The key to priming cases is learning to feel the primer starting into the primer pocket.
