Lubricating the case before and during sizing is very important. Be sure you’re using ample, high performance case lubricant like our Lee Resizing Lubricant. When sizing, once the effort becomes extreme, remove the case and redistribute the lubricant, re-insert the case and size to completion.
Before attempting to seat the bullet, to help prevent shaving or marking, we recommend using our Lee Universal Flaring Die. If you choose the Universal Flaring die, the small plug only is used on the inside of the die, see instructions for setup. 1 full turn on the adjusting screw provides a nice flare to accept these style bullets without any shaving or marking.
