Mount the tool so that the table top prevents excess travel of the lever. Stroking the lever past the table surface is unnecessary and will damage the connecting rod or break the red body. Seat the primer until you feel it reach the bottom of the primer pocket. A properly seated primer is flush to .008" below the case head.
