Broken primer arm on Ultimate Turret Press

If you break the primer arm, it is simply because you are pushing too hard to seat the primer. The new big press, because of its ergonomic shape, big press linkage and lever, it allows the user to place much more pressure than necessary to seat the primer. For example, it's like driving a car with power steering vs. a car without power steering. Please see the attached .pdf, primers should be seated flush to .008" below the face of the cartridge case head.

The ramp index bracket will need to be replaced on your Ultimate Turret Press if a primer arm is damaged.

We have made some additional improvements to the priming area on the reloading press since introduction, email Lee Precision for these parts to be sent.

Bin bracket = added a larger pad of material the primer arm rests on.

Ramp index bracket = reinforced slot where the primer arm installs.

Ram support ring = provides larger contact area for the primer arm to contact. Installation video = https://vimeo.com/1012084134/012ac03e01
