Loadmaster Primer Jam

If the Primer is fed sideways onto the Pin, this type of jam is typically caused by a problem with the Wedge Bar. It is either loose or possibly the bar or the bracket in the Frame it is installed in is damaged. The wedge bar pushes the case sensor arm back toward the center of the shell plate to deliver the primer to the primer pin. If the primer is not fully onto the primer pin before the pin begins to rise it will tip off from the pin and jam against the pin. First inspect the Wedge Bar and the Loadmaster Frame to ensure neither are broken or damaged. If they are not, remove the Wedge Bar from the press. When the Wedge Bar is off the press, thread the self tapping Phillips Screw for the Bar into the Bar repeatedly until the under side of the Screw head contacts the top of the Wedge Bar. Then reinstall the Wedge Bar on the press making sure that the Phillips Screw is tight. This will ensure that the Wedge Bar is fully seated and vertical which it must be to perform its function properly.
