Drooping Mold Block

There are two ways to fix this - the first is the turn the mold upside-down when you open and close it.  Not the best, but in most cases it works.  The other is to peen along the bottom edge of the slot that the mold handle tongs fit into.  I do it this way;  flip the sprue plate all the way around to that it is facing toward the handle (this gets it out of the way).  Turn the mold over and clamp lightly in a bench vise, so you have both hands free.  Place a flat blade screwdriver on top of the handle tongs (this would actually be the bottom of the tongs) and line the edge of the screwdriver blade up with the top edge of the slot (again, actually the bottom edge of the slot). Tap on the handle of the screwdriver hard enough to make a dent in the edge of the mold block - continue to do this along the whole edge.  This will make the slot slightly narrower, and prop up the mold block when you flip it over.
