You can melt wheel weights in any Lee melter. The steel clips will float to the surface and should be skimmed off during the fluxing operation. Avoid melting wheel weights that appear "shinnier" than others, as they may contain zinc. Small amounts of zinc will render your alloy un-castable with poor fill out.
