If you must change or remove your bullet seating screw for any reason, below are the steps to remove and replace the screw to prevent damage and properly calibrate the thimble.
- Remove ¼-20 acorn nut
- Screw thimble into the die until the thimble separates from screw.
- Remove screw.
- Turn new screw in a couple turns.
- Push thimble on to screw.
- Turn thimble and screw until the “0” line meets the vertical line at the intersection of a horizontal line (.1, .2, .3, etc.)
- Tighten ¼-20 acorn nut while holding thimble.
