For the case inserter on the APP presses, there are a couple of things that we suggest reviewing for better feeding.
- Lubricate the underside of the rail with something such as CLP, Slip 2000, Rem oil, or similar.
- The top of the rail should be left clean or a dry lubricant applied such as powdered graphite.
- Check the screw securing the rail from underneath to make sure it is not too tight, as that can pull the rail down and cause it to bind.
- Smooth out the sides of the rail, focus on the last 1/3 or 1/2 of the rail. Take some finer emery cloth or sandpaper such as 600 grit or 800 grit, smooth the sides of the rail and the corner edge that the sides and the bottom of the rail make, there may be a burr or some flashing from the molding process.
