First, remove the shellholder adapter from the top of the ram. You can loosen with 1/4 hex key by unscrewing counter-clockwise. 

Second, lower the ram all the way - this will uncover the two pivot pin holes inside the hole for the ram. Drive out blind pin [left side of press] by taking a 1/8" punch and inserting it through the thru pin [right side of press], until contacting the blind pin. Knock out blind pin with hammer (1 kg / 32 oz.). This will require considerable effort as they are pressed in firmly, and the pin has to go through the connecting link. With the blind pin removed, you can use a considerably larger and longer punch and knock out the through pin. The press linkage and ram will fall free of press.
