The Quick Trim die must be installed into press to insert brass case into die. It's designed to be a tight fit to prevent the case from spinning while trimming. After the initial brass case insertion, all subsequent cartridges will be easier to insert.
There is black nylon ring installed into the bottom of the die. There is a relief cut in the steel behind the nylon ring to expand, then the nylon ring is pressed into the bottom of the die so it cannot fall out.
