New Decapper Design

The old style decapper/expander rods in the sizing dies consisted of two parts. The rod itself was machined and the the decapping pin was a roller bearing that was staked into the end of the rod. The roller bearing worked well, but it will not bend without breaking. The new decapper/expander rods are machined from a single piece of steel, and the decapping pin will bend without breaking. If it is bent because of an off center flash hole or Berdan case you will be able to straighten it.
