Pro 1000 40 S&W Cases Jumping out of Case Feeder

Always be sure that when you are loading the 40 S&W on a progressive press, the Small Case Slider is to be used in the Large Case Feeder.

Load the tube with empty cases. Adjust the bottom edge of the cylinder plate so that a nickel fits snuggly between the plate and the case mouth. This should be enough clearance for the case to slide out from underneath the plate. Be firm and direct as you bring the lever up to seat the next case into the shell holder. Using a slower motion gives the case time to get misdirected.
